I bought a container of beautiful, colorful, exotic tomatoes, does anyone have a recipe for a marinated salad or any ideas how to use them for a salad?

Slice them thinly. Also slice thinly a purple onion, add oil, spices, etc. and you have yourself a very delicious tomato salad. Enjoy!

the purple onions need to sit for a while once cut otherwise if you eat them straight away they will be too sharp.
A trick someone taught me once was to immerse them in hot water to take off some of the bitterness

Are they heirloom tomatoes? If so, what I do with them is cut them into large chunks and mix with fresh chopped basil, avocado, also in large cubes, chopped garlic, a little red onion sliced very thin, sea salt, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Sometimes I also add persimmons.
