I usually do my taxes myself on paper and mail it in.

I was thinking of paying for turbo tax. I'm wondering does it help me fill the forms in but then I still need to print the form and mail them??

You could use irs free file (google it). You need to know what you're doing, but if you've been doing your own taxes in the past you should be ok

I efile with turbotax for free. Most individuals can for free. Very simple especially if you are used to doing it by paper.

Are u saying u don't have to buy the TurboTax ?? That the whole process is free for u?? Bec as far as wat I read, it is only free for ppl with less than x dollars income, which I dont qualify for.

I guess I fall into that income bracket as I don't pay. I don't think that you will have to buy the software. The online turbotax will efile for you but may charge you for it.

I efile for free with turbotax online, but I think the caveat is that you can't itemize and have to take the standard deduction.
