Very (not) funny. Op asked for help, if you can’t move on.
Op unfortunately there is a culture on imamother to laud yourself for being most unfashionable and to mock those that actually care about fashion. Kind of like the “I’m more frugal then you” mentality that’s here as well.
A good very basic tip is what the stores are selling is what’s in style...

I was just telling this to my husband last night. If someone asks for fashion advice telling them to wear what looks good on them is not going to change their want to wear what's in style! If you don't know the answer don't try to "help the problem here"!!
OP, I'm not too helpful but I'll be following! I like to shop on lord and Taylor/nordstroms websites for shoes but I never know what is in style. Any links would be appreciated also if anyone has seen anything particulary cute....

I"m looking for everyday shoe and also for some dress shoes for shabbath and simchas
ordering online so can't wait till I see what the stores sell

If you want to know what’s in style in general, check net a porter and Barney’s online.
If you want to know specifically what’s in style in the frum communities, check the frum shoe stores. The spring merchandise is already in. Ask a salesperson what’s new and cool.

I’m enjoying this thread- shoe buying leaves me scratching my head each time as I try to buy something comfortable and at the same time semi fashionable while having no clue what the current fashion is!

I'm sticking with ballet flats. They work for me and suit my "look." But I have a lot of chic friends, and I've noticed that the more stylish ones aren't wearing them anymore. I see a lot of loafer- type shoes for spring -- something like this, and especially in colors like dusty rose.

I am so happy that loafers are back in style! Until recently it was impossible to find simple loafers in stores, only ballet style shoes which look terrible on my foot. I hope loafers will be around for a very long time since that’s what I like to wear! It was so hard for me the last 5-6 years when no one wore loafers!
