Lieber makes almond milk it doesn't say sweet or unsweetened. But it has 7g sugar original and 10g sugar in vanilla flavor

The Leibers one has added sugar even in the original flavor.

The OU website says that any regular kosher unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk, would be KLP. It should just be bought prior to pesach, so that if there's a question of chometz on the machine, it would be bitul.

Can you post the link? I was unable to find it. Thanks.

The OU lists only certain original almond milk brands and says that they are only ok for the infirm or for children (probably because of kitniyus).

That is so weird. B/c I did my research a couple days ago and am 99% positive that I read the above there. They have updated website to say that guidelines are for 2019 only, so I wonder if I read old guidelines?!

I wonder if you read that regarding natural coconut oil, since that doesn't need special certification.
Coconut milk is also an issue with kitniyus and some brands can be used for children or the infirm.

No worries. I just wanted to be sure. I check that list about 27 times before I buy anything that doesn't need a special hecksher, and hadn't seen this. Would have been nice, though.

So now I’m not sure what I’ll use for my toddler. He usually drinks oat milk... What’s the best of all the almond mills listed?

I did check guidelines for coconut oil too, but I don’t recall about it having to be bought before Pesach, so that chometz is bitul...

Do they make it?

I haven't seen it anywhere. And it's not on the lists from the hashgacha agencies I checked out.

That is not what ou says. It says that in cases where a child or sick person needs it, one can buy almond milk before pesach. It is not a blanket permission to.drink.any almond milk.

Why is it a problem to use the sweetened Liebers for Pesach only?
