Call the Yeshiva of Brighton Beach - they pick up!!!

Google them for their number. They're amazing, and I have donated numerous times to them. They'll tell you when they're in the neighborhood and you can either give it to them when they come or leave it for them and they'll pick it up and leave a receipt.

Their phone number is in my cell! It's 718-385-5002

Yay! Tizku lemitzvos and pass it on. I'd so much rather give Jews the tzedakah than non-Jews and for frummies it's so hard to find tznius clothing at these donation places that I know my clothing goes to someone who really needs it.

I just moved and right before moving, gave 6 HUGE garbage bags full of clothes I never wear or don't fit Sad. It's such a mitzva.

there is also a gmach on East 22nd street- btw quentin and R. A family owns a separate garage that is onl y for the purposes of the clothing collection. You go to the back and put ure bags into the garage. Should I get the exact address for u?

who asked you to give anything away? Question

I think CM meant it's hard to find people and places to whom to give things, and she's thanking those who posted names of places that will take stuff.

True, I'm still waiting for someone wanting a LOT of children coats. No one wants them, "too many".

Have you tried freecycle.org or craigslist in your area? Or a comapny that collects coats for children in need, like a orphanage?

Sefardic Bikur Cholim has a "thrift shop", I'm told. I haven't been there, but I think it's on McDonold between KH and Quentin. You can donate and buy things there.
