My sister is on bedrest. She has a very active 2.5 year old with some delays (he was a preemie) we all plan to go over to help as he wont let us take him out of the house without his mom. What are some things we can do with him indoors? Nothing off limits, will go buy any toys or supplies necessary.

PLEASE dont say to tear him away from his mom and not give him a choice. Trying not to torture my sister in the process. Ty

Does she have where to make a kiddie pool or sprinkler?
Dot paint
Coloring
Baking anything with dough
Sticker crafts
Balloons- I blow up an entire pack of balloons and fill a room, the kids have a ball.
Get afew colors of the huge 20oz cups and build forts and towers, then he can kick them. It's alot of fun.

You're welcome! We have about 400 cups, the toddlers absolutely love it!
Some other ideas:
Sidewalk chalk
Get colored paper tape & make a "road" on the floor for his cars or bike.

Im trying to think of some things that dont need much buying.

Boxes- literally grocery boxes, make a nice fort or make a tunnel. I throw ball pit balls in there too.
Water bottle- with colored big beads. Rattles and fun colors for the kid to shake or roll.
Favorite books- My son loves animal books and there are some really cheap ones with sounds effects. Also anything with lots of colors.
Parachute game- I literally do this with some of my long tichels and my kid cant get enough. Up and down, slow and fast.
Dance party- if the child likes music, this is the best. Be it music off a phone or cd. Use things that rattle with it and be silly!
Scavenger hunt- show the child a few toys and have them find the toys. Id limit to a small area in the house.

Color/notes to mommy, you can glue pictures. Oh there is a cool aqua board thing. Where u just use a "pen" but its just filling it with water, and scribble on this pad. Then it evaporates.

Amazing family b"h

Check out the fatbraintoys.com website.
They have a plethora of great classics as well as other creative stuff that can keep kids busy for hours , many are their own like Squigs.

The search engine is also very helpful.

You can put the balloons in a duvet cover and have fun jumping!
