So.. Let me get this straight. You married him to be his mosquito net? Fly paper?

I was never able to open up the pickle jars. I married my husband and he's was so wonderful at it. Then I discovered these great jar openers that worked like a charm. DH wasn't so necessary at that point but I decided to keep him anyway.

You can't buy from places that have terrible return policies. Lesson learned I hope?

Just to hear his response when asked how many kids he has.
“I have two, but my wife has three. “

I don't want to be buried alone. The Talmud says souls talk to each other in the cemetery, so I made sure to marry a guy I like to chat with.

I got married so that if I didn't feel like doing something I could totally blame him for it. You gotta try it sometime, it works like a charm:
Sorry, can't do it, my husband __________ (just fill in the blanks)

I stopped doing it as much when I realized some ppl were under the delusion that I was actually being prevented from going to their party/ participating in their gift exchange/ anything I didn't feel like doing. I didn't want people to think my husband was a jerk.

So I can wear a realistic looking sheitel

I get you. That was so part of my plan.

My hair is so awful I was considering wearing a wig as a girl. But then I was concerned that all those married women wearing realistic wigs would ruin it for me, so I held off until marriage.

I married DH because I wanted to get out of my parents house. Oh, what a relief. That was my only way 🤪

Now that I think of it, I can't believe you're the first person to think of that answer! Applause

So I would have someone to talk to.
Not knowing he'd use burping and farting as his primary means of communication.
