Interesting read but not scientific enough. Wikipedia isn't the most reliable source of info... And also, I don't understand how the function section is related to vaccines. All it says is about diseases that make BBB more permeable.

So once you get a handle on that the BBB is - you can then understand that people say that vaccines are made in such a way that the BBB is affected to allow through elements of the vaccine.

Lots of informative pieces on the BBB. A/th vaccine-related? Are vaccines designed to reduce the BBB? Is reduction of the BBB a possible result of vaccination? Or is the whole conneciton unproven?

I'm not looking for conspiracy theories or far-fetched connections. I want to know what the current science says . Thank you.

ETA: Your link in the next post , the one right above this, seems to come to the same conclusion as me: In spite of their long usage, the literature has pointed out that the adjuvanticity mechanisms of aluminum salts remain basically unknown despite most active investigation in the field in recent years.

If you've managed to grasp all of this science in the couple hours that you have been looking at this - kudos to you.

Science isn't about belief.

There are people who have presented arguments that components of vaccines cross the BBB and there are people who have responded to to those arguments.
