Cute. It’s definitely not worth $70. Totally not. I’ve been know to splurge but not for something as simple as this shirt.

Definitely.
And I found shirts with similar looks for half the price. And I tried on their year's clothing, some of which looks very nice.

Posting here is actually pretty healthy when it comes to fighting outrageous community norms. It gives you perspective and helps keep the big picture in mind. It's not all about keeping up with neighbors, friends and family when it doesn't sit well with you, it reminds you there's a world out there too.

Seersucker is a classic WASP fabric - along with whales on their belts. 
Whether that particular shirt is a "frum" I have no idea but seersucker is a total "preppy" fabric.
