Posting in that thread sometimes comes across as jealous so lets vent here....

I love in a decent size house but there is just so much I would like to have here too...

Let me start:

A fixed up basement with two large rooms for in-house simchas and 2 studio apts.for parent and in laws when they visit

A seforim room

Living room

Sitting areas

Homework nook for the kids

Walk in kids' coat closet

Walk in pesach kitchen

Mudroom

Huge built in sukkah/sunroom

Now, your turn.

This is not socially acceptable, but I'd give up my dining room for a music room.

This is an old one. I hate to cook. My dream is to convert my kitchen to a sitting room and have a chef deliver meals daily...Oooooh.

No matter how big or small the house is, I’d like it to come with a full- time housekeeper.

Indoor space. Mudroom/landing space for coats, bags, etc. Laundry room on floor where all bedrooms are. My own bathroom. Kitchen with separate and abundant counter space, sink space, storage space for meat/dairy and a double wide fridge. And very functional, manageable, living, playing eating space that keeps everyone together without clutter. Sponga drains for all the rooms so that mopping is a breeze.

My outdoor space is what I really would love. Pool, vegetable garden, a good paved area for kids to ride their toys/trikes/skateboards. Nice deck/patio area for the sukkah and for us to eat outdoors in summer.

If I can find a way to have an inner courtyard without compromising on sunlight I'd love for all my outdoor spaces to be enclosed with my house wrapped around it.

A sensory gym for my kids with yoga swings, punching bags, climbing equipment, mats and cushions for body-slamming, maybe a Nintendo Wii area

Two kitchen sinks with separate counters!!!

Guest suite with a full bathroom, preferably two bedrooms so my married siblings with older kids can fit comfortably when they visit.

I don’t mind cleaning/turning over my sink and oven and fridge for pesach, but built in pesach STORAGE would be sooo helpful

My dream renovations include:

*replacing the horrible countertops in my kitchen, and making separate meat-dairy sinks at same time (right now I have a double sink with one faucet, which I do not like at all.)
*expanding my dining room into the garage (which would include a floor lift)
*replacing windows in the house - mine are drafty and some are very difficult to open or don't open at all
*finishing the basement with a study for DH, a playroom, some guestrooms, a bathroom

I can dream, right?

Meanwhile, I'm grateful for what I have B"H.

I'd add:
a master bathroom (with a tub, no Jacuzzi needed)
more bedrooms (a few with bathrooms, if possible, for down the road when kids come back married) and some for guestrooms
eat-in kitchen (or weekday dining room, so we can set the table for Shabbos on Thurs night)
Pesach kitchen (not making Pesach yet, but may as well)
playroom on the main floor with large closets and doors to close the room Wink
larger (and level) patio for the sukkah plus kids riding bikes/"cars"
indoor "gym" (kid-centered), but doesn't need to be elaborate, but a place where they can run and jump without damaging furniture or themselves

I can 100% do without the pools (I'd be terrified to have one), bars, sitting rooms, music rooms, etc.

An indoor climbing zone in the basement.
A huge practical kitchen with 2 ovens and 3 sinks. A walk-in in pantry.
Lots and lots of freezer space.
A master suite (a big bedroom to fit two queen beds, a huge walk in closet, a dressing area, a couch, a beautiful hotel bathroom with a jacuzzi).
A guest suite with 2 bedrooms and a private bathroom.
A PESACH closet.
A backyard with a nice grill area.
A big dining room to fit lots of guests.
An art/ craft room.
