I saw a family full of kids all dressed up as grandmas and grandpas. It looked hysterical because it made the parents look so young in contrast, two young middle-aged people schlepping around with a bunch of seniors LOL

I saw a family where the parents were Abbott and Costello and the kids were Who, What, I don't know etc. Got a good laugh out of that, I found it brilliant!

A mishpachas freilich, costume. The girl was wearing an entire house on herself with her little kid faces sticking out of the windows & she the mom, her facing sticking out of attic, on top.

Not a costume, but some friends dressed as mimes and put normal hamantaschen and jellybeans in a clear plastic box - ala the classic “mime in an invisible box” routine.

Not expensive or complicated, just clever!

I saw a really cute boy dressed as a water carrier, except the pails attached were for money as he was collecting. Was so adorable!
