FIRST NIGHT
Salmon/sea bass
Lasagna
Cheese potatoes
Spinach artichoke zucchini
Roasted Parmesan Brussels sprouts
Garlic Parmesan spaghetti squash

FIRST DAY
Sweet breads
Corn beef
Maple glazed sweet potatoes
Chicken nuggets and beef fry
Broccoli apple blueberry salad

SHABBOS NIGHT
Fish
Chicken soup
Not sure about the rest

SHABBOS DAY
No ideas yet

For breakfast, dessert, and snacks I’m making:
No bake chocolate lasagna
Peanut butter granola cups
Cream cheese strawberry cookies
Lemon meringue pie bites
Chocolate eclair cake
Kahlua chocolate cake (if I can get frangelico)
Rice Krispies peanut butter balls
Irish cream mini cheesecake (if I can get Waller’s)
Lemon cheesecake mousse
Reese’s cheesecake brownie bars

Some things will be made dairy, and some
Parve
Hopefully it will all last well beyond Shavuos. I made the Reese’s brownies last year, it lasted through succos!!

Like I said, it’s supposed to last well beyond shavuos. Shavuos is the one time of year that I bake, so I make enough to last 5-6 months. Some stuff will go in the freezer right away, some stuff will be used on shavuos.

YIKES

Thanks for the reminder. We always do all dairy for Shavuot, which was my plan. I forgot its also Shabbat. Now I have to rethink my plans.

Shavuot, then Shabbat. Why do you need to rethink?

This. The second day of Shavuot is Shabbat, so I may need to switch the dairy I was going to serve to meat.

Right, but she said they usually do dairy the whole Shavuot, so if she planned 4 dairy meals, she needs to replan 2

Shavuot is Thursday night-Friday, Shabbat is Friday night-Shabbat. 2 meals dairy, 2 meals meat. No?

Or maybe I missed something because I am just overtired.....

I'm assuming you're in Israel. In chutz la'aretz, Shabbat is also Shavuot.

We do fleishigs for all yom tov meals, with a milchig kiddush. From my side, the second day being Shabbat means I can't have the last meal be mostly leftovers from the others, because most have liquid and can't be reheated. I also figured this out yesterday.

Um, yes.... chutz l'aretz... two days Yom Tov.

She was probably thinking of her normal two day/four meal milchic menu, and is now rethinking to allow for second day Yom Tov also being Shabbos.

Got it. Thanks for explaining.

(And of course you're right about the 2 days and overlap, can't believe I forgot that.)
