place in an open container... wrap dish with a damp cloth and place in a dark cupboard over night... and walla... like magic!

I just un-hardened some 2 nights ago.
the package itself gave 2 suggestions:
1. Put it in microwaveable container, cover with wet paper towel, seal w/ plastic wrap. microwave for 1 1/2 - 2 mins
2. put in bowl, cover with wet paper towel, seal with foil or plastic wrap. leave overnight.
For both methods, it said to use the sugar immediately. Not sure what happens if you leave it afterwards.

I second choc moose. I just used this trick this morning for my hard brown sugar. by the time I got home from work 4 hours later it was soft.
