A close family member is getting married. None of us want a huge crowd. Whoever had to be invited had to be invited because you know. No one should be insulted chv.

But we don't mind if you stay home out of an abundance of caution. Some of us wish we could do that too.

I hope you’re letting people know that. Many baalei simcha feel otherwise.
The same way you felt obligated to invite, they quite possibly feel obligated to come. So find some tactful way to let the word out
