Can you make hamentash in advance & freeze them for Puri

I have put in the freezer challah, kokosh cakes but never hamentashen - can it be done?

I just finished making my cookies for mm. I iced them now, and will put them in freezer! I want to get as much done as possible!

I always do. Unfortunatly this doesn't prevent me from eating most of them, anyway, still frozen, and I always end up having to make another batch. this is why I haven't made mine yet and am trying to put it off as long as possible.

I always do, they freeze really well. The secret is keeping everyone from finishing them before Purim.

yummmmmmm...I always make the recipe from kbd and freeze it. They are way better than any bakery hamantashen I have tasted.

Just put them at the bottom or back of your freezer, out of sight of you and your family, and maybe they will survive.

One tip is to lay them out on a cookie sheet to freeze first, and then pack them in a bag or other container once they are solid.

Otherwise, they get stuck together and break up! (And you have to make a whole new batch to look nice for Mishloach manot, but they still taste good! Wink )
