You do know that there is no one "yeshivish" authority, right?
Hundreds of thousands of people identify themselves as yeshivish and practice Judaism many different ways.

Yes I do know that there is not one Yeshivish authority. However, there are some hechsherim that are on the whole more commonly accepted and some that are on the whole less commonly accepted, and I was wondering where this one typically falls.

Most yeshivish people will not eat ou d. You definitely should not buy or serve a yeshivish person ou d without verifying that they eat it.

25-30 years ago they did. Nowadays many keep cholov yisroel.

It's not the OK hechsher that's the issue, it's if the food is CY. If someone keeps CY, they won't. Many - most? - but not all yeshivish people keep CY.

We eat chalav stam and use ok - D. My kids are not allowed to bring chalav stam food to school, but we eat it at home/on trips/everywhere else besides school.

Some will look at the ingredients - powder milk, whey, butter is ok by many.

Also, many things are labeled with the D, but do not have any dairy ingredients. The o-u and some others stopped using D.E. (dairy equipment). So some products have a D eventhough they are parve.

For example, we eat the non-dairy Ben & Jerry's icecream for dessert after a fleishig meal. We check the ingredients and check if milk is listed as one of the allergens.
