What do you do if your kids wake up early? my 4 yr old and 3 yr old wake each other up and play and fight and then come to my room and wake me up. They woke up at 6:40 this morning and I went to sleep so late. I am so tired now and need ideas of how to keep them in their beds till a normal hour..

TIA

Honestly 6:40 is pretty reasonable to wake up sorry. You can have them bring toys in your room and play while you lay in bed and rest but not sleep deeply. I have let my kid watch some thomas the train if he wakes up too early.

In my world, if the first number on the clock is a six, it's not early...

If they genuinely don't need you, there's a clock you can put in their room that turns colors based on how you set it. So the green light goes on at, say, 7am, and that means they can come to you (or leave the room other than the bathroom.) But I would try to get used to waking up at 6:30 or so, because after 6 is usually a normal hour for kids this age.
