I was suggested by sheitel macher to get a body wave for my sheitel because I really miss my curly hair. Any thoughts? Am I going to kill my sheitel?
Would you do it if you were curly before?

I have curly hair and ordered a curly fall a few years ago. When it came in it was so curly, I was so surprised. The shaitel macher told me it was permed. At first I was taken aback bc I never heard of perming a shaitel but it has held up well. Not as curly as it was 3 yearsago..more like wavy but I still love it. I would get another one permed again.

I would be careful with perming an old wig. I did to mine which was about 3.5 years old and it deteriorated very quickly after that, probably didn't help that I dyed and highlighted it also then.
I have gorgeous curly hair so can totally relate and was desperate for some kind of substitute.
Anyway, it was nice for a few months but shortly afterwards became straw-like and hardly wearable.
Was a BK BTW.
Lot of luck maybe someone else had diff experience. xx
