I'm not so familiar with falls. I just have full wigs, but now I'm looking for a fall to wear with a hat (no headbands) primarily for comfort. Should I go with a hat wig? Are hat wigs way more comfortable than bandfalls?

Yes, if you don't plan on wearing it with a band ever - go for a hat fall, much more comfortable and if you wear a tight beanie you won't have a bump underneath

Hat falls are way more comfortable.
