I have a horrible cough but have a drs appointment in the city.
Its not covid. I recently had it and tested again just to be sure. (Its not residual cpvid symptoms either)

Wwyd?
Should I be scared to go on the subway?

I would be kinda nervous... not bc of passing covid on to anyone potentially but more because of the possible chillul hashem and making people upset
if you really don't have another option, maybe try to go during "off hours" and stay far far far away from anyone else

Right I'm not worried about passing something because I got tested for a few things, but I have an dr appt and can't really choose the timing, I'm pressed for time as it is.

I would go. Just keep your mask on and try to stay away from others. I take the train everyday and there are people coughing all the times and some take their masks off on the train so I don’t think those people are too concerned about someone else coughing anyway.

Does your doctor know you have symptoms? Many doctors offices aren’t allowing visits with people who have active symptoms.

Even if it's not covid it's very possibly something contagious, no? I would look for alternate transportation if possible.

Just go. If it's not covid then what is your problem?

Do you live in ny? The subway situation is a bit scary right now and I’m pretty much a fearless type.

Op I would Uber.

Yes. I called them and told them in advance.
Like I said I already had covid, but just in case took another test.
I also tested for other stuff to make sure I'm not sick with something contagious.

Probably not.
I went to regular doctor to get checked out already.

I personally don't think the subway is scary right now. No different than usual although a lot emptier obviously.

Uber is $$$$

Suck a cough candy, avoid rush hour and go. A cough could be a post nasal drip or allergies
