Young children are not major drivers of covid transmission.
An electrician with health conditions vs a young nanny or young supermarket worker with no health conditions.... The nanny is not at higher risk.

From a quick Google search, it looks like advocacy is ongoing in California and people with disabilities and the people who care for them are beginning to be added to the high priority tiers, in accordance with CDC recommendations.
May I suggest you contact your legislators and present your views?
