My son was recently at the kotel Shabbos morning. He said they put out food that people can take to eat and make kiddush, and then they can drink on their walk back. Does anyone know who puts out the food and what the hashgachah is? Or how to find out? Or is it just random?

I think it's a good hashgacha. I don't remember for sure it might be the Rav of the Kosel's job, R' Shmuel Rabinowitz. You can probably ask him or his office, they should know everything about what goes on there.

It's probably good hashgacha because most people of all sects make a bracha at the kosel.
