Hi Everyone!
I tasted a delicious salad over Purim, was hoping someone out there would have the exact recipe.
It was lettuce, mixed with sliced cold cuts (in small squares, I'm not sure which kind) grape tomatoes, and a dressing.
I don't remember if there was anything else, but I think that's it. If anyone has the exact recipe, I would really appreciate if you could post it.
Thanks!

I make a deli salad like this:
I use romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes and various cold cuts cut in cubes.
The dressing is
mayonnaise
vinegar
sugar
garlic (fresh, frozen, or powder)
onion powder
black pepper
I also crumble tortilla chips into it (Garden of Eatin brand-they have whole grains and flax)
You can pm me if you want exact quantities of the dressing

I agree with sunshine, that's probably the dressing they used. Most deli salads use some variation of that type of dressing.

I make the same salad as sunshine except I put in equal parts of mayo and salsa for a more "southerny" deli salad

You could also cut in sour pickles into the salad.
The dressing I use is
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
2 cloves garlic or garlic powder

I am going to make it for shabbat I think but I am trying to figure out between the 2 different dressings written here. So what should be the main part of the dressing? Which ingredients? I am so bad with this stuff!! From both the ppl who posted the dressings here, it comes out good? And is that an amount for an average size salad?
