Hi, I live in England and need to buy a new sheitel. I really want to buy a custom sheitel. I have been quoted anything from 350 to 1000 pounds. Dh is freaking out, thinks it's way overpriced and wants me to find out what's the norm. I want it to last at least 3 years. It's for everyday. Thanks

I dont know pounds but under 1000 its hard to find a good one that will last ,average good one is about 1500

I think in england you may be paying the same in pounds what an american would pay in dollars.
For £1000 ($2000) you could get a great wig in the US. (or possibly Israel) I bought a Shevy for about $1500 that I am really happy with. I always buy my wigs in NY, even though I live in Europe, because it is so much cheaper.
If you are planning to spend that amount, you could fly to NY, buy a wig, and even with the plane ticket still spend less then you would in England.
