I keep clicking links/ads/search results for plans that are in the $30 range, and then I find out that's only if you have a few people on the plan. Is there anything low priced for an individual? I don't need unlimited data but I want at least 5gb built into the plan, and the more the better.

Getting frustrated with google so I'm wondering if anyone has done this research before and can give me the lowdown.

I use tello for some lines.
It’s $8/month for unlimited minutes. But I don’t use data. 2GB is like $14.
No contract. It’s month to month.

I had the most luck when I went into a kosher cell phone store. (It wasn’t for me. I was helping someone else.)

AT&T prepaid has a $30/month plan for 5GB data. Probably ends up closer to $35 once you add in fees. No contract.

Google Fi is cheap when you have several lines, and pricey when you have only one.

I'll look into AT&T, thanks.

I don't have a "kosher" cell phone store near me, and I am not looking for a "kosher" phone, but if they sell plans for regular phones then do you have a number? Maybe I can do it over the phone.

The 2 cheapest I found for 1 line are Tello and usmobile. They are both cheap. For tello you now need a GSM phone that is VoLTE compatible. With usmobile you have more options and they still allow you to activate older cheap used phones Smile

Try Mint Mobile. They have different sized plans, but you pre-pay for a set amount of time 3, 6, 12 months. The longer the term, the lower the monthly cost. We pay the equivalent of $15/month for one line.

Good luck!

I love Mint Mobile! It works on T Mobile's network at its $15/month for 4 GB. You prepay for a few months at a time and they do not have any stores. If you PM me, I can give you a promo code that still give us both a discount.
