You know how there are some songs that when they come on during dancing, everyone stops dancing and starts jumping up and down in place? I don't like when that happens. My brain just doesn't handle the transition well, it feels jarring.
We're making a simcha soon and I want to tell the music guy to avoid these songs. I figured he would know what I'm talking about but instead he asked me to name the specific songs I want to avoid. Problem is I don't know what they're called. I don't go to simchas often enough to have a whole mental list. All I know is that I feel so cringey every time there's that abrupt shift and I would very much like to avoid that.
So, if you can please provide names of the songs that do this, it would be greatly appreciated. Don't worry about getting it right or wrong because I'll just look them up on spotify and confirm if it's the ones I'm talking about. The more the better.
