Yes. Endorsed by the Ped and my own CNM (who has no financial interest in my child's care). Daughter is absolutely fine some years after the full series. No regrets at all.

My cousin developed epilepsy shortly after receiving Gardasil. My pediatrician told me the CDC does not recommend it. Do your research.

My oldest is only 12, but I really haven't thought about it much. Iyh, our children should all be responsible and not doing anything stupid. But we can't protect them forever. It could possibly save a life.

It's been around long enough to know if it would be any worse than mmr , polio or meningitis vaccine. Its the same safe/junk like all the others.

Sorry, double post. I don't want to scare anyone but I would never want anyone else to suffer like my cousin does.

There have been many many horror stories from that vaccine. More so than other vaccines.

We opted not to, with the full support of our pediatrician.

I’ve never heard that.
Literally from cdc website:

HPV vaccine is recommended for routine vaccination at age 11 or 12 years. (Vaccination can be started at age 9.)
ACIP also recommends vaccination for everyone through age 26 years if not adequately vaccinated when younger. HPV vaccination is given as a series of either two or three doses, depending on age at initial vaccination.

My pediatrician strongly encouraged.

I’ve decided to wait. My girls can get before marriage if they want.
I was told by a nurse there is an ideal time to get when young but I feel like it is still too new snd if like to wait.

My rav told me has heard first hand stories of ppl having issues after so he isn’t so pro.

I’m so sorry about your cousin.

The CDC does say that the “HPV vaccine is recommended for routine vaccination at age 11 or 12 years” and also “ for everyone through age 26 years if not adequately vaccinated when younger.” Here is a link to their site with the full information on what is recommended.

Your pediatrician is mistaken, if that is exactly what s/he said with no misunderstanding:

I guess I didn't do my research 🤦. I'm not planning on giving it any time soon , so I guess I'll do my due diligence if I decide to give it.

Unless I misunderstood, my ped said the cdc has a warning about Gardasil. I asked a while ago so I may be remembering wrong. I never did real research, the first-hand trauma was quite enough:(

No covid and no hpv vaccines for us.

We give everything else.

My kids can choose to get those later if they want.

They write
“ There is a safe and effective HPV vaccine that can prevent the infections that most commonly cause cancer.”

They have warnings for every vaccine. Warnings for ghardisil aren’t more.

I didn't see it as whether or not my kids would do something they shouldn't, but rather as just not knowing where life will take them. If they marry a convert or baal teshuva who may have been exposed to certain illnesses at some point in their past, if C"V they are ever attacked (C"V a thousand times over) - why should they have to worry about this too? There are so many illnesses and cancers we can't protect them from, if we can protect them from this one, why shouldn't we?

If you've learned nothing from the last 2 years about what the cdc deems "safe and effective"...
Seriously
People are petitioning and suing against the hpv after being damaged
