First of all, you are in a super tough situation. I wouldn't manage being home all day with my kids.

re the bolded. She is trying to connect to you.

Also, I want to suggest that when you need your kids to do something (pajamas, baths, dressed)
if they are playing I would tell them how much more time they have until bath time (or can do timer)...they need advance notice.
then when it's time I would say ok everyone come and I would physically take them and undress them or help them get undressed.

I am not sure if its me or not but I feel like my kids are lazier and less independent with getting dressed and undressed. for me thats the only way it works on getting the night moving when I help them along....

thats my personal take instead of resorting to yelling.

it works so much better that yelling out instructions. they just wont listen like that.

Thanks.
I know my daughter is trying to connect to me when she sticks to me. I feel bad because I realize that, and I'm also stressed because it's always when I'm in a rush, running to finish gathering materials for classes and the students are starting to come, and she wants to jump down the stairs holding hands... Lately I just give up and take her with me to the classes, the truth is the students are fine with it.

I actually do give them advance warnings with timers, and I do physically help them with whatever possible. There are some things they insist on doing themselves, but get very distracted and I have to keep reminding them over and over, like to finish saying shema, to choose what they want to wear, choose which toothbrush they want, etc.

Thanks all for taking your time to respond with advice.
I know I have to just work on my patience and staying calm.

Until one day I'll have 12 kids and be perfect, right? LOL
