Hi, I'm flying to EY for yontiv in a week and 1/2 and just realized my son's passport expires in August. I called the passport agency and got an appointment for the morning of our departure. Its going to ve very tight and stressful! Anyone have experience and know how many hours turnaround to actually receive the passport??

It's very possible that Israel doesn't require you to have six month validity on your passport. I recommend you find out regarding that.

Technically they do require but I heard they are not always makpid. However, it's up to the airline's discretion because they are respoonsible to fly to person back in case there is an issue. I don't want to take that chance.
