We moved out of town because where we lived was really expensive. We came back to my parents for Pesach and I can hear my husband's longing to move back but we can't afford where my parents live. Is there a warm, friendly, yeshivish out of town place in the east coast that is not too expensive?

Can we ask where you currently live and what dh feels is lacking?
Or what he misses about your NY area?

Waterbury but it's not strictly yeshivish. Seems like a lovely place. Baltimore, again a mix. Much bigger. What's affordable to u?

Definite "not too expensive." Baltimore is the first place that comes to mind. Some posters here are very happy in NE Philadelphia. Edison isn't cheap, but is definitely cheaper than Brooklyn and is a warm OOT-ish community that's close to Brooklyn/Lakewood/Monsey.
