Anyone know a shulamis? what are your opinions? It sounds a little outdated but I love the meaning and that it is the girl equivalent to shlomo.

I like the name. It’s actually not so popular but it’s nice. Wasn’t she the daughter of rabbi Akiva?
I know a girl who was given this name after a male relative-Aharon because he was ohev shalom v’rodef shalom = shulamis

I love shulamiT, but not shulamiS. I guess it depends what community you are in, or what country you live in.

I know several people with the name. All very refined and gentle. I wouldn't add a name it's long enough on it's own.

Around here we would say Shulamit.
I think it's a beautiful name.
Also Shulie is an easy, sweet nickname,

It’s my daughters middle name and it’s beautiful but not what we call her. But I know a few little girls called Shulamis or Shuli.

Me too. It’s my Hebrew name and in my community people would call me Shulamis. I do not use it for that reason . I don’t like it.

It's my name and I love it! It can be difficult in a non-Jewish environment though. Didn't bother my at all when growing up, I always felt special

Lol it’s my middle name too but I think I like it better than my first name which is a common name.
