My 16 month old baby is a very picky eater. He refuses to eat bread with a spread on it or eggs for breakfast/lunch. The only things he eats nicely are the yogurt pouches and sliced American cheese. Nothing else besides for this. For supper he will eat soup and he can sometimes take small bites of chicken. He's still very much attached to his bottles. I give him formula still because I find otherwise he doesn't get enough nutrition from eating so little. But I'd rather switch to milk and stop the formula. The formula is really chubbing him up with those extra calories. I'd rather he eat normal foods. Can anyone here suggest other things to feed for breakfast and lunch? I'm going crazy

I basically follow baby led weaning.
Here’s what my 16 month old eats.
Breakfast
Wheatabix with milk
French toast (no sugar just milk and eggs)
eggs
Lunch
Avocado
Fish sticks
pan cakes
Eggs
Pasta
snacks
Fruit all kinds cubed
Bamba
Flutes
Pouches
Applesauce
dinner
Schnitzel
Chicken soup veggies and chicken
Franks and fries
Rice
Mostly anything I serve. I serve a plate with all kinds of food cubed. I let her choose what she wants to eat and she feeds herself. We’ve been doing this since she began eating at 6 months and bh she’s developed a well rounded pallet. She still has food preferences but she’s much less picky than her older brother with which I started this program at a later age.
Bottles 2x a day

And btw she doesn’t eat bread either (only challah).
Just give him a plate with a variety of foods and leave him to it. No force feeding.
Good luck!! My elder child was like this. Once I started this he got less picky bh.

A 16 month old should be eating anything you serve the rest of the family
You can check https://solidstarts.com/foods/ to see how to serve all kinds of food safely to babies and toddlers
Stop the bottles, just do milk in a sippy cup in the morning and night. He should be eating 3 normal meals plus snacks.
