I'm posting these words in my room to help keep me motivated and focused on my weight loss and fitness journey. Sharing in case they speak to any of you. And if you have something to add to my list I will be grateful.
Don’t give up on what you want most for what you want now.
When you feel like quitting, think about why you started.
If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.
I already know what giving up feels like. I want to see what happens if I don’t.
Yesterday you said tomorrow.
What seems impossible today will one day become your warm-up.
Losing weight is hard. Being fat is hard. Pick your hard.
The first step to getting anywhere is deciding you’re not willing to stay where you are.
Workout because you love yourself, not because you hate your body.
That voice inside your head that says you can’t do this is a liar.
You can feel sore tomorrow or you can feel sorry tomorrow. You choose.
You are only one workout away from a good mood.
Your body can stand almost anything. It’s your mind that you have to convince.
Never ever forget, even for one moment, how truly amazing you are.
You are what you eat, so don’t be fast, cheap, easy or fake.
The best project you will ever work on is you.
It’s a slow process, but quitting won’t speed it up.
Wake up with determination; go to bed with satisfaction.
Don’t stop until you’re proud.
