You weren’t clear in your op and you’re shooting everyone down.

My husband's been horrified about the state of the playroom when he comes home these days since my daughter's home all day and makes a mess. I explained it's easier to let her play happily for 2 hours and spend half an hour cleaning up at the end of the day than to entertain her for those 2 hours.

I just sit down in the playroom with our 4 big bins of the toys she dumped that day and toss everything into the correct bins and put them back on the shelf.

Games, I control more and only take down when I'm playing with her and we clean up right away.

I think for her sake you should learn some techniques to have her clean her messes.

Mentchies, magnatiles and one building toy should be a manageable mess.
So limit it to a group of toys that work well together and clean easily.

I would create a chart and reward her for cleaning up - maybe exciting play dough accessories that can only be used twice a week.

I find food art is exciting and keeps them busy and then gets eaten or just roll a plastic tablecloth up and throw out. Think cheerio jewelry.

Note- if she's creating a story with her play and it isn't messy, just staged, I don't think it's fair to require cleanup.

If she plays every day with the same three toys, then just throw it in to one big box at the end of the day. I take a broom and sweep all toys to one corner and sort but if you find it to hard throw it in to one box. Get her a shovel and teach her how to throw it in, she might get excited.
By the wat you didn't mention an age which makes a big difference in expectation.

Just need to say, giving one toy at a time to a creative kid is like giving out to an artist one color at a time. It’s just not fair. You don’t write first with a pen then with a paper. You don’t eat first the challa then the dip. You do sometimes need two things at once. Play mobil, magna tiles Lego etc DO all go together build a fantasy palace or whatever else she’s imagining. And bringing out the dolls to participate is also very understood If you are six years old.

Maybe try one day sitting down on the floor with her and have her bring you into her world. Youl be surprised, impressed and probably will have a different attitude to one toy at a time type rules.

And I'm thinking: Indoors. Shabbos. Needs minimal or no supervision.

I have a child that age. She loves dolls and doll clothes/dress up and it all gets dumped into one box.
Aside for that I have one building toy plus a bucket of mentchies cars and animals that's out. That's all. I rotate the building toy and on shabbos we sometimes take out another toy bucket because there are more kids around.
It's enough.
Games I play with her, art is one thing at a time, at the table, same for play dough, beading etc.
My daughter is super creative and we are not a toy heavy family but creativity = mess. I don't notice that we have less to clean because we use fewer toys.
Story tapes is fun but she usually likes to color while she listens and she also helps me with laundry/cooking.

That's all I can think of for indoor.

Looks interesting but very overwhelming.

Does this website have a list of activities? Looks more like interviews.

Shabbos I would definitely pull out more toys.

I didn't say that it needs to be indoors or shabbos and that it needs minimal or no supervision.

For example I like giving her pearler beads because it takes a long time to do it and I don't mind ironing it and it's a nice activity.

I also bake with her but not more than once a week because it can be a bit draining.

I started cleaning up and she told me which toys to leave out. I told her that I can't because too hard for Mommy to clean and I understand that she doesn't want to clean up. All of a sudden she was all over me cleaning up and promising to clean up every toy she plays with! Lol. And bragging to everyone how she cleaned up and that from now on she plans to clean up all her toys!

Try sidewalk chalk dipped in water
It’s messier but cleans up SUPER easy
The colors are more vibrant and it’s easier to use
Chinese Jump rope is a lot of fun
Stringing cheerios
Making paper chains
Easy sewing projects
Making necklaces and bracelets
Going to the library or a museum
Running around at the park
Play duck duck goose, mother may I, red light green light, Indian chief, etc.
