This day is making me feel angry.
I’ve been conforming and people pleasing all my life and something snapped in me last year.
So today is a full day of doing what I’m being told what to do.
Only it isn’t.
Because I broke my fast after chatzos.
I fast easily but I just couldn’t take the pressure.

I also don’t want to read all kinds of inspiration that are in my face on social media.
And my life is heavy enough on its own.
I can’t handle hearing everyone’s painful stories.
This day is so heavy. I just want it over with.

Yes, 45 minutes to go but I've been feeling terrible since the kids went to bed. I had a heter to break if I felt my milk supply was low but I could not justify that after the baby was asleep

I broke my fast at chatzos but I feel unwell and weak, as if I'm fasting.

You never skip breakfast? Or are you maybe a coffee person?

Wake him up or break your fast.

I don’t need someone telling me when I can and can’t eat.
I need to take back control of my life.

You are not a halachic authority to tell anyone to break their fast! You are angry and bitter but you can’t tell anyone to break Halacha!

OP, I'm impressed that even though today has been so icky for you personally, you're reaching out to ask others and offer chizuk.
May you find the strength to hold firm to your best inner self, and not get pushed into other's desires at the cost of that.

You do not sound like a Torah observant jew.
This post is reportable

What about the other 613 Mitzvos? How are you handling those?

😛
I can do whatever I want.
Just for the record, breaking a fast on a nidcha is not breaking Halacha

because there are leniencies in some situations doesn’t mean that it’s not a Halacha to fast today. And I’m pretty sure you’re not a Posek

All I can do is hug you and be a listening ear if you want to talk OP. I hope you can work through some of your bitterness. (Yes I am fasting)

I never skip breakfast. I eat first thing in the morning, or else I get dizzy. I don't drink coffee.
