I recently discovered that dd10 has huge patches of cradle cap under her very thick hair. And it’s making some of her hair sticky and clumpy. What can I use to treat it? She currently uses head and shoulder but it’s not cutting it.

Please go to dermatologist.
Will probably prescribe Ketaconozole shampoo.
Can use few times a week and then wash with regular dandruff shampoo.
Have her or you comb (and then brush) out after each washing.
It will start flaking off. Gross but effective.
Make sure loose flakes are not visible (brush off if necessary) after she makes her hair for camp/school.
Good luck, it can be dealt with but must stay on top of it until gone.
