And I can’t wear either the Orly or Apparalel skirts. Awful for my hippy-but-smaller-waisted figure. They both add so many pounds to my frame! The flowier Meli skirts with the narrow waists and extra fabric around the hips are so much more forgiving for me.

OMG same. I thought I was the only one!
The fact that it has that top thick part before the pleats start (I'm sure there's a word for it but I can't think of it) totally accentuates my stomach and I can only wear my Aparallel skirt when the top is untucked.

I'm seventy belee eiyen nhora. Yes you heard me right: 70.
I only own one pleated skirt. Only.. lol. The Orly skirt, of course.... and wear it more often than my straight and pencil skirts.
I've gotten my daughters' and DIL's approvals.
This is the only pleated skirt I own. It's slenderizing and even age appropriate for me personally. lol
My grandaughter owns 2 of those as well.

I really want to get one of the pleated skirts but when I tried the apparallel one on it hugged my hips too much and wasnt tznius. and even the "long" length isnt so long on me.

I was in bp once and I saw women there wear pleated skirts that are long and tznius and not hip hugging. where can I buy one from?
