Hi,
I purchased in London the other day salt beef. I love saltbeef it is corned beef anyhoo... Most of the time I do water in a pot and let it shimmer for a few hours but DH says I can't do that because the salt will be washed off and it won't be yummy. How can I make salt beef more tasty? Because I loveee it

It doesnt wash off.
I know people that boil it up, pour out the water, and then boil again because its too salty.
.I dont know another way how to prepare it.

Put the water 3/4 up, almost to the top of the beef- but not quite.
It will not wash away the salt, as the beef has been cured.
Enjoy!
