Im aiming to ask for a raise for a while now, and I want to be educated before I do so.
Im the only worker, so I kind of set the standard here...
Im working for around 6 years here, married 3 years.
Working in Williamsburg, would be a help if you let me know your location..
Whats your net pay per week or do you know the average here?

How many hours a week do you work?
Do you have any health benefits? Paid time off? Flexible?
There are so many variables

So you make $30 an hour after taxes, which is about $40 before taxes (assuming you have a good account) with probably no real degree?
Boy am I the idiot.

Why should how long you're married? Have any relevance on how much you should be getting paid?

I hate these posts. Typical office position in what? Six years working in what? Are you in a school
Office? A doctors office? An accountants office?
If you’ve never gotten a raise, ask for 10%. If you have, 3-5.

Im trying to be vague, but detailed...
Typical office position in a retail style business. My job is kind of to find the right product for client and customer service. Some billing as well.
I've got a small raise once around 1.5 years ago. Im wondering whats the average pay so I can give this info to my boss when having the conversation

Would be a help to let me know what kind of work you do. Not to mention other factors that could be very relevant. Hours. Size of company. Benefits. Education level.
I mean, if I'm a brain surgeon and you're a receptionist is knowing my pay going to help you ask for a raise?

I've been on this site long enough to see that in some people's reality married people make more than single people of exact same qualifications and performance.... because they need more money.

That’s against the law in America.

What do you mean by "net"?
Aren't you working for someone? Net is for when you have a business. Luke your business can gross 1M, but your net after expenses is 100k.
Like if you're referring to how much you take home after taxes your boss does not care. He/she cares about what they pay you in gross. If you pay higher taxes you're not going to be paid more.
