Hi,
Does anyone have experience with giving 4-6 year olds knives to help out in the kitchen? For example, my 4 year old had such a fun time today first cutting baby carrots with a plastic knife and then cutting pieces from a larger piece of apple. For that, he used a knife from my flatware. I was just wondering if that's the best option. I saw montessori knives on etsy (wood) and they look cool. Does anyone have any experience/recommendations?
Side question- is there such a thing as a kid safe peeler?

These are great. My kids love using them to make themselves a salad or help me chop veggies for soup…
