Is a 3" round cotton ball on DD's lower back tsniusdik? She's a beis Yaakov girl and otherwise always tsniusdik.

I do not think having a pom-pom on one's tush is very tznius for a teenage girl.

For perspective: I am DL and grew up in a traditional/secular family with no strict tznius rules.

IMO, a girl she can do whiskers, nose, and a headband with ears, carry a bunch of carrots, etc. and that's fine. Rabbits are not inherently immodest rodents.

It's the tush pom-pom that makes it inappropriate. And that's skippable.

I wouldn't do it, from a tznius perspective. This is one that I think will be decried by both ends of the hashkafic specteum, for different but related reasons, neither of which a ypung teen will likely understand. I'd point it out from a logistics perspective. Who wants to sit on that? It's not neutral, even if you think it will be. And the costume doesn't need it.

I totally agree but a group of girls decided together to be bunnies so I'm choosing my battles 🐰

My girls were cats one purim (cat-ear headbands and face paint, black skirt (some wore tulle) and top) but only my little one, who was under Bas Mitzvah then, had added accessories of tail, paws gloves, etc....My big girls thought the "stuff" was childish anyway.

Agree with you.
Anything with a bunny IMHO with a pom-pom and bunny ears has a Playboy vibe.
If OP doesn't happen to know what Playboy bunny is in suggest her to google it.

I’m assuming the teen girls that decided on this costume have no clue .

And then Hugh Hefner came along and basically trademarked them

It’s too much of a Plaxboy symbol when there is a tail

Not ok. It’s evocative of something she isn’t trying to evoke. That makes it way worse

How old is she? I’m assuming she knows nothing about playboy. Is she in a full costume with legs or is it a skirt with a Pom Pom?

Forget about playboy, I think it's immodest just for the reason that it attracts attention to the behind area. It shakes as you walk.

And this is when its time to clue them in.
If I would see a gaggle of teenage girls dressed as bunnies, even with no tail, my eyebrows would shoot up. Its just too connected to playboy. I would feel very bad for these girls if they would have no clue what they look like, and other adults noticing them would be smirking...so cringey. Just tell them
