My 20 year old has anxiety and is taking medication for it.
The last few months she is having EVERY night nightmares.
She is trying to sort this out with her therapist as well.
But I wonder if there is anything she can do to stop those nightmares.
It can be any tips, be it jewish related or not.
Just trying to get the most help for her.

1. could it be a side effect of the medication?
2. specific advice from the Lubavitcher Rebbe about nightmares:
https://www.chabad.org/therebb.....s.htm
- check your mezuzos (both the actual scrolls and their placement)
- be sure to say Kriyas Shema properly before going to sleep
- read something positive and inspiring before going to sleep

Anxiety is obviously way more complex than the average nightmare, but you asked for all tips:
I learned when I was a child that if I have nightmares, I should say some tehillim/learn some pirkei avot as a zechut that they should not return. I still do it today.

I was once having nightmares - started up out of the blue and dr told me vitamin deficiency that can cause it. im soooo not a believer but it was true.
you can do blood work to see what shes low in, or take magnesium, vitamin D and Vitamin b6

Yes, there is something to do. In your Siddur after Shacharis you will find "Hatavas Chalom" it will explain what to do when someone has a bad dream. It's generally done with 3 people (friends). My husband says it for my kids when they have nightmares. Maybe ask your Rav the best way to do it. It's comforting to know that it's normal and part of the Siddur.

I had nightmares for years. I didnt have anxiety but was going through a lot. Eventually the nightmares disappeared, I never quite understood why. But I did start at one point takind vitamin d and b6 supplements, so maybe that helped?
I would also check as someone else mentioned if its a side effect of the medication she is taking.
And yes saying tehilim before bed, that helped my kids avoiding nightmares.

Learning Chitas has numerous benefits but it stems from the Hebrew word that means fear umoratchem vechitchem and is an antidote to fear.
Chitas is when you commit to learning the chumash and Rashi of the week's parsha each day divided by aliyos, Tanya and Mitzvos of the Rambams sefer hamitzvos divided into daily portions for the year and say the yom of tehillim for the day of the month.
https://www.chabad.org/dailyst.....y.htm
There's Chayenu and multiple apps that have it available.
Also I would suggest homeopathy.
