I just ordered an Instant Pot for Pesach and it will arrive tomorrow.

What recipes would you suggest, things that freeze and reheat well?

Thank you!

Meat- gets suuuuuper soft. I cook it for about an hour and fifteen.
Chicken- I like when it falls of the bone, about 25 mins
Soup- any kind, chicken, veggie, about 30 mins.

It basically uses pressure to cook things faster than traditional methods.
For meat, for example, you start on the Saute function (adds flavor but not absolutely necessary) to brown your meat. Then, you add any veggies or sauces that you want. I find it best to add a bit of liquid of when cooking something like chicken- you don't want it to burn, but also not too soupy.
Then set it on pressure cook depending on what you're making. Make sure the valve on top is turned away from you- this seals in the pressure.
Once it's finished cooking, it will beep. All you need to do is release the valve by turning it towards you, but be careful, it will release a lot of steam.

ETA: I figured out correct cooking times by some trial and error, but there are a lot of recipes available online.

Thank you!

Any instant pot cookbooks or recipe blogs that you’d recommend?

I’m under a lot of pressure, no pun intended! And would love to rely on tried and true Imamother recipes, rather than googling!
