I just learned about this and its been super helpful so just sharing the info in case can help others...
Hair spray can be helpful in cleaning up stains from floor/walls like ink on floor, food coloring, even helped get out whiteout (but it was on a material that the wo prob could have been scraped from so not sure if would help for materials where the wo would have absorbed more). Its probably from the alcohol in it. But smells much better than using straight up rubbing alcohol and not sure if maybe other ingredients help. Spray and let it sit on the stain for a bit and then wash off.

I wouldn't use it on walls. It can ruin them. Tread carefully. Mostly used on clothes where it can be washed out of.
