Reminds me of the urban myth of the sem girl who refused to wear a seat belt on a date.

Your joking.
I like the look because it actually does make me look slimmer (!) Somehow.
But I wouldnt harp on that these days.

I actually agreed. I don't know if I'd keep my daughter back from wearing it but I agree. I saw my married nieces wearing it on a thin blouse and I have to say but it looked quite revealing. On a sweater type of top it didn't look bad. I remember people commenting quietly behind my nieces back. She's very skinny and the cross body bag just didn't look right.

Is this news?
When I have to wear a crossbody, I put the bag in front of me, rather than the side. The strap sits nicely, and I feel more comfortable.

If so, I'm going to get a push-up cross-body bag.

How about in my birthday suit?
Anything goes cause it’s you do you?
Nice line but it’s silly.

As with every piece of clothing. Look in the mirror when you wear it and see if you look refined in it.
I can see where they’re coming from but wouldn’t make a blanket statement and now ban cross body bags. It’s a good awareness and it should end there.
Seriously, soon they’ll ban knapsacks for the same reason. I can see single shoulder strap pocketbooks be revealing as well. It’s endless. Maybe we should just wear air filled garbage bags over our body to be safe?
Everyone judge for themselves with every garment.

Israeli Beis Yaakovs do not allow backpacks, and haven't for some time.

Oh wow. But single shoulder can reveal one side...
I truly feel it’s endless!

You're right, birthday suits are absolutely scandalous. That's why I make sure all my babies come out fully clothed. I also remain fully clothed while immersing in the mikvah. When something is untznius, it should be banned across the board lest someone think they are capable of deciding for themselves when something is appropriate.

I strongly recommend cross-body bags to anyone with migraines since the strap re-distributes the weight of the bag across the shoulders rather than ONE shoulder, thereby reducing strain on the neck. (And bonus: hands free;)
There are ways of wearing them in a tzniusdig way, for sure.
The ikar is that people choose for themselves!

They never banned it.
There was no endorsements or signatures.
Personally I think they do have a point.
It *can* be a bit revealing.
I will still wear mine.
But in thr day and age with the nisyonos of our generation I think its not a good idea to harp on the little things.
