We got some help but we already had 35k in savings by than. I hope that's impressive enough

Very Low down payment, but then borrowed some to bring it up 20%.

We bought when I was 29. But someone helped with the down payment. We had to buy because the market was going up and we are stuck in nyc, I have 2 autistic kids who need services.

I remember single family homes 13 years ago when I was looking, being in the $450-$500k range.
