Recently, I was searching for advice in a certain topic and stumbled onto some really old posts.
It seems like imamother was a different planet 🌎 in 2006. I didn’t recognize any of the posters screen names. It was really cute to read and it was so different.
Is anyone still on from back then? Is it weird how the dynamics shifted on here?

A lot of people left when it changed with new members. With people being sharper and less kind, many of those that stayed did not want to be tied to our posting history. And yes, it was much more enjoyable back then.

Imamother seems to have been a lot more kind, mature and accepting than it is today.
Today it often feels like a teenagers zone.

Im always curious about this. How many Imas are just oldies under new names. I created a new username for a specific forum (with permission from Yael), and then I started using that one but then I decided I do want to go under my original one.

People always say this. But was it really? There's plenty fights and arguments and people threatening to leave when you look through the old threads. Maybe not as far back as 2005/ 06 because then there really was a small pool of users but I've definitely seen very old, very heated threads.
