Bh I have pretty good skin but I'd like to start taking care of it. I'm young now and I figure that now is the time to start so Iy"H it will age well.

Only immediate concern is lots of redness.

If anyone has recommendations for an easy and budget friendly routine, I'd love to hear!

I rely enjoy trader Joe's skincare. They have have two different dash washes, I enjoy both. I use their rose water spray, and I use the moisterizer from a pump.

Use all 3 night and day. All products are very cheap. I have people bring them to me in Israel.

Im not super into skincare, would love to be more into it but I'm focusing on the basics right now. I think it's really easy and budget friendly starter kit.

Thank you! I'm going to look into these. I don't think that the rose water spray will work for me.. I forgot to mention that my skin is pretty sensitive so I can only use fragrance free products.

the moisterizer and one of their facial washes is fragrance free. The other facial wash is with tea tree oil and lavender etc but doesn't have added fragrance as an ingredient.

Rose water spray has added fragrance I see in the ingredient list.

Just went and checked for you from the products I have at home.

I think cerave make a budget friendly retinol
Do your research before you purchase as it's a strong product and your skin will have to adjust to it - know what to expect.
Always use sunscreen when using retinol

Trader Joe's Nourish Oil-Free Antioxidant Facial Moisturizer 6oz https://a.co/d/j3c8iwV

Here's the links for them all. Ignore the prices. They are half or a third of that at trader Joe's stores.

Retinol increases skin cell production, increases collagen which keeps skin youthful and wrinkle free. It can also prevent and lighten pigmentation from the sun and reduce acne

I don't have good skin so I need a good routine to keep it looking ok (although I doubt I will ever have perfect glowing skin).

My AM routine is hydrating toner, vitamin c serum, moisturizer, spf

I have two PM routines and I alternate nights:

One is double cleanse (balm and gel cleanser), hydrating toner, retinol, hyaluronic acid serum, moisturizer

The other is double cleanse, aha bha toner, aha bha serum, azaleic acid serum, moisturizer.

I use eye serum/cream both am and pm

I use a face mask 1-2 times a week
I exfoliate with dermatologica powder a few times a week

If I had perfect skin the only things I would do is cleanse, moisturize and spf (and thank Hashem for nice skin!!!)

Thanks! I do have a cleanser (I think Cetaphil) in my shower but I guess I should start using it in mornings as well.

What does double cleansing do?
