Chocolate Marble Squares - Easy,Easy, Easy!!

2 sticks of marg.
2 eggs
1 T. vanilla extract (Pure)
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 bag (10 oz) chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, cream marg, eggs, vanilla until smooth. Add sugars. Mix well.

Add flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well.

spread into a lined 11 x 15 " pan (smaller jelly roll pan) spread batter over pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of batter.

Place in over for 3 minutes. Remove from oven and with a knife, marblize the melted chips over top of batter. Return to oven for another 15 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.

Can I use a cup of oil for this?

(and I only have fake vanilla - I don't think you can get the real stuff here)

Sad forget it.
The kids ate their way through Shaking a whole packet of choc chips just now.
I thought it was too quiet, now I know the reason.....

if you have a bar of baking chocolate break it up by hand or in a machine.

No, I don't have any more chocolate. That was the only pack in the house.

Now I ave to wait for the sugar high to kick in, shouldn't be long now................

I was gonna say...even if you did have chocolate, if they ate the whole pack you're gonna need damage control LOL!

How much oil? Also can I mix it all by hand if I am not using margarine?

I used a bit less than a cup. And I mix everything by hand. Gone are the days of shlepping out the heavy mixer, and then washing it afterwards.
