to look at it in Brooklyn?

the smell goes away after about 20-30 minutes but usually when first turning it on, it smells like gas. I don't know if there is a leak. I noticed it more after Pesach.

Appliance repair guy. Its possible that the ignitor is going.

This. Igniter can easily be replaced by appliance guy.

It's the igniter. Please do not use your oven until you have it fixed. I had same thing and the repairman said this is exactly how ovens blow up. We used wolf appliance repair to fix. He came with the part it literally was fixed right away

It is extremely simple to change an ignitor. It's usually the first thing that breaks on an oven.
The part costs about $15 on Amazon(free overnight if you have prime!). We did it ourselves a few times and saved ourselves hundreds of dollars!
Look for a YouTube video to switch on your model. Look up model number to order your part!

I wasn't going to wait even one or two days for a piece to ship. I need my oven every single day. It was worth every penny I spent.
